2008 Cadillac STS-V
The supercharged V-Series STS-V comes has a 4.4L Northstar
V8 SC with 469 horsepower and 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic
transmission, Driver Shift Control, 4 channel StabiliTrak,
Adaptive Remote Start, Ultrasonic Rear Park Assist,
Keyless Access, Bose® 5.1 Studio Surround sound
system with navigation, Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane
Departure Warning, a hand-wrapped leather interior with
exotic Olive Ash wood appointments.
STS-V handling is superb, with high-performance 4-piston
caliper Brembo disc brakes with vented 14" rotors
front, 14.3" rotors rear, power-assist with 4-channel
ABS, ZF Servotronic II, speed-sensitive, power-assisted
rack-and-pinion steering, performance-tuned suspension
with front independent, short/long arm, coil-over monotube
shocks, anti-roll bar and rear Independent, modified
multi-link, coil springs, Nivomat load-leveling shocks,
anti-roll bar. Integrated chassis control technologies
include a two-mode Magnetic Ride Control and computer
controlled, 4-channel, 4 driver-selectable mode StabiliTrak.

STS-V Interior Features
The interior features premium materials and fabrics,
including dual-firmness Tuscany all-leather seats, available
heated and ventilated, that have been specially tanned
for a softer feel. Technological appointments are plentiful,
purposeful and driver oriented, including an Easy Key
system; Adaptive Remote Start system, Adaptive Cruise
Control, windshield speedometer Head Up Display (HUD),
heated and ventilated seats and heated steering wheel.

STS-V's Bose® 5.1 Studio Surround®
Sound System has an in-dash 6-disc DVD changer, 15 speakers,
touch-screen DVD navigation -- which also plays DVD
movies (in park only) -- plus Bluetooth phone interface
and voice recognition. OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation
allows consumers to talk to a live advisor, who in turn
sends step-by-step directions to customers, provide
restaurant recommendations, make hotel reservations,
give location-based weather, traffic reports and stock
information. |
